In his senior year at Henrico High, Krishna Agarwal was determined to serve as the Secretary General for Henrico’s Eighth Invitational Conference. Krishna Agarwal has been involved in Model UN since his sophomore year and has attended a number of conferences such as DRMUN, GODMUN, GSMUN & FREEMUN. During his junior year, he participated in HIMUNC VII as a co-chair. Model UN has played an important role in his life ever since he first participated in MUN in 5th grade at a Middle School Conference. Krishna joined the secretariat by taking this enormous role in order to encourage others to aim higher as well. A vision that Krishna lives by to this day. As Secretary General of HIMUNC VIII, Krishna looks forward to seeing all delegates engage in global issues with as much compassion as possible. In his free time, Krishna participates in clubs like Technology Student Association (TSA), Equity Ambassadors, and other activities on campus like Varsity Tennis. He also enjoys playing the flute, reading, going to the gym, and listening to music. His favorite memory of HIMUNC VII was all the chaos that managed to unfold when both the British and Indians fought over the long-standing issue of colonization and Indian independence. Krishna is looking forward to making everyone else have the same memorable experience through a similar approach of professionals as that of the UN.
Amal Manoj

In his senior year at Henrico, Amal Manoj is thrilled to serve as HIMUNC VIII’s Director General. Amal Manoj has been involved in Model UN since his sophomore year and has attended conferences such as DRMUN and GODMUN. He later served as a volunteer for HIMUNC VI and has served as a chair for HIMUNC VII. Amal joined the secretariat to work to facilitate an opportunity for students to broaden their understanding and enhance their communication skills with others. Throughout his Model UN experiences, Amal has learned the importance of time management and critical thinking in Model UN. As the Director-General, Amal is looking forward to seeing unique and different initiatives that delegates present during HIMUNC VIII. In his free time, Amal participates in clubs such as the National Honor Society, TSA, and Key Club. He also enjoys going on late-night drives, playing basketball, and listening to/making music, he is also a part of the boys’ varsity soccer team. His favorite memory from HIMUNC was during HIMUNC VII when he got pied in the face by a delegate in his committee. Amal is enthusiastic to meet the new delegates and can’t wait for HIMUNC VIII to be a special conference.
Rehan Ladhani

In his final year at Henrico High School, Rehan Ladhani is ecstatic to serve as HIMUNC VIII’s Under-Secretary General for General Assemblies. Rehan has been a part of Model United Nations since his sophomore year and has attended conferences such as GSMUN, DRMUN, and GODMUN. His part history as a part of HIMUNC started as him being a crisis staff during HIMUNC VI and a chair this past year at HIMUNC VII. Rehan’s interest in General Assemblies and past experience along with his drive for meaningful discussions of global affairs is the reason Rehan joined the secretariat this year. Throughout his three years of Model United Nations experience, Rehan has developed conversational and organizational skills. As this year's USG for General Assemblies, Rehan is very excited to see delegates share their thoughts on global matters, and the unique resolutions that they have to offer. During his free time Rehan also participates in various other clubs and sports teams. Rehan is a part of the boys’ varsity volleyball and soccer team at Henrico High School. Rehan also enjoys playing basketball, playing table tennis, and listening to music. His favorite HIMUNC memory was when he got his hair dyed blue by a delegate in his committee last year at HIMUNC VII. Rehan is very excited to meet the delegates and is ready for HIMUNC VIII to be a great conference.
Anay Abey
Under Secretary-General for Specialized Agencies

In his last year at Henrico, Anay Abey is excited to serve as HIMUNC VIII’s USG for Specialized Agencies. Anay Abey has been involved in Model UN since his sophomore year and has attended conferences such as DRMUN and GODMUN. Later serving as a volunteer and then as a chair in HIMUNC VII. Anay joined the secretariat to help oversee debate and inspire young delegates to engage in global issues. Throughout his Model UN experiences, Anay has learned the importance being quick on his feet and being an inquisitive soul. As USG for Specialized Agenices, Anay is looking forward to seeing the diverse and unique delgates at HIMUNC VII. In his free time, Anay participates in clubs such as the Wellness Warriors, TSA, and Key Club. He also enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. His favorite memory from HIMUNC was during HIMUNC VII when he got his hair dyed by a delegate in his committee. Anay is enthusiastic about meeting the new delegates and can’t wait for HIMUNC VIII to be the best yet!
Ella Chandler
Under Secretary-General for Crisis Simulations

Ella is a senior year at Henrico High School in the Center For the Arts (CFA). They can’t wait to serve as HIMUNC VIII’s USG of Crisis. Ella joined Model UN in their junior year, attending conferences like WMHSMUN, NAIMUN, and RAMMUNC. They are the Model UN specialist of Henrico’s Model UN team and a member of the All-American Model UN team, a national travel team. Last year Ella chaired for HIMUNC VII in the Mafia crisis committee. Ella joined the secretariat to promote community and collaboration and ensure a positive environment for delegates to grow and learn. As USG, Ella is looking forward to the creative crises that will come about this year. Outside of Model UN, they are involved in the National Arts Honors Society, Art Club, and Mock Trial. They like making art, playing tennis, and listening to music in their free time. Their favorite memory from HIMUNC was last year witnessing when the Mafia mid-committee murdered a fellow delegate. Ella can’t wait for HIMUNC this year and is thrilled to serve as your USG of Crisis.
Varunika Gobinath

Currently a junior at Henrico High School, Varunika is ecstatic to be a part of HIMUNC VIII as your Director of External Communication and Registrations. SHe has been a part of the MUN community since her freshman year, attending all sorts of conferences, ranging from high school conferences like DRMUN and GSMUN, and college conferences like RAMMUNC. As Director of ExComms, she’s responsible for managing all communications with other schools, organising the registration process for MUN conferences, and ensuring that all logistical aspects of our events run smoothly. Outside of MUN, Vee’s involved in sports, and other extracurriculars. For instance, Vee does hockey, ice skating, volleyball, and tennis, along with dance. She volunteers at her nearest hospital, the church, and religious areas too. She’s excited to meet all the new delegates, and watch this year’s Henrico’s MUN conference.
Srihith akkala
Director of Charitable Giving and Marketing

As a junior at Henrico, Srihith Akkala is excited to serve as HIMUNC VIII's first-ever male Director of Charitable Giving. Srihith has been involved in Model UN since his freshman year, attending conferences like GODMUN and DRMUN. He started as a volunteer at HIMUNC VI and later chaired a committee at HIMUNC VII. Srihith joined the secretariat to make a positive impact and ensure HIMUNC VIII is the best conference yet. Throughout his MUN journey, Srihith has gained valuable skills in time management and critical thinking, which have helped him succeed in both his academic and extracurricular pursuits. Outside of Model UN, Srihith is an active member of the National Honor Society and TSA. He is also passionate about sports, playing both volleyball and soccer for his school. In his free time, he’s working on launching a small business and starting a local chapter of a mental health nonprofit. Srihith is looking forward to meeting new delegates and seeing the innovative ideas they bring to HIMUNC VIII. His favorite memory from HIMUNC was when a delegate made a surprise charitable donation in his name, inspiring him to continue making a difference.
Callum Chandler

In his senior year, Callum Chandler is thrilled to be working behind the scenes in HIMUNC VIII. Callum has only recently realized his passion for MUN, attending several conferences during his Junior year such as WMSMUN and RAMMUNC. During HIMUNC VII Callum was thrust into a lead chair position and is now eager to make the conference the best HIMUNC yet. Through Model UN, Callum has learned several valuable skills, such as long term thinking, good research practices, and collaboration. Outside of Model UN Callum is training to become a pilot and in his free time engages in piano and making YouTube videos. His favorite memory from MUN was during a world war one crisis where he was almost assassinated and proceeded to act like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars. Overall he is excited to bring in new delegates to MUN and give them the best experience to move forward with this passion
